All inquiries regarding the acceptance and/ or processing of donations should be directed to the currently serving Treasurer – Trustee of the PGR of Oklahoma, Inc.

Currently the Corporation can accept just about any form of financial support. This includes: cash, personal checks, money orders, bank transfers, and with proper notification even PayPal.

The Corporation will not accept donations made in the form of IOUs, material goods, or signed over third-party checks.

Further, it is important to note that the PGR of Oklahoma, Inc. cannot accept donations which require conditional distribution. For instance, donations made for the benefit of a particular city, a veteran or their family, a specific PGR member, or any specific PGR related activity.

The only exception to donations for specific causes is the PGR GOTOG (Gathering the Oklahoma Guard) annual event. Contributions made for GOTOG can be in the form of gift certificates, material goods, food, or cash contributions.

Whether donations are to be made directly by the original donator or other persons, donations should be sent to the Treasurer – Trustee’s address, as shown below. In some cases donations are offered directly to PGR members with the intent that they be turned over to the Corporation for support of the continuing activities of the PGR. In this case it is incumbent upon the PGR member receiving such funds to get the donators name, address, and phone number so a receipt can be sent to that individual or business.

In all cases donations should be processed expediently by the holder of such contributions. All donations are considered to be made in support of the PGR of Oklahoma, Inc.s ongoing activities. Under no circumstances should donations be held or used by the receiving individual or any others with or without the donator’s permission. Therefore, it is beholding of the individual receiving such donations that the contributions be forwarded as quickly as possible to the Trustee – Treasurer for deposit into the Corporation account. Upon receipt of such donations the Trustee – Treasurer will promptly send an acknowledgment of receipt and a “Thank You” to the donor recognizing their contribution, which the donor can in turn use for tax deductibility purposes, if they so choose.
